We usually have over-ripe banana attracting fruit flys, so instead of letting them go to waste I freeze them until I have time to make banana bread. Below is my banana bread recipe.

  • 1/4 Cup Butter
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. flour/ (1/2 whole wheat if you like)
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 bananas- as ripe as possible.
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons flaxseeds- (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Preheat over to 350 degrees

  1. Cram butter and sugar
  2.  Mix in eggs
  3.  add all dry ingredients
  4. add everything else.

 

Bake for approx 1 hour.
